“ The Medals of Lance-Bombardier (Albert) George Chorley”
The Medals of Lance-Bombardier George Chorley were purchased following a Crowd Funding campaign in the Village last Autumn, and were then professionally restored and framed. To complement them, a picture was then produced which includes a photo of the Village War Memorial, surrounded by the names and regimental / service badges of those inscribed on it, who gave their lives in the two World Wars. The display has now been mounted in the Village Hall Committee room.
