The Freedom of Information Act 2000 provides public access to information held by public authorities, including parish councils.
In April 2008 the Information Commissioner released the Model Publication Scheme which calls upon public authorities to proactively publish information, as well as respond to requests from interested parties.
Fivehead Parish Council adopted this scheme. As a result certain information is now available to anyone requesting it.
