  • A children’s playground with swings, roundabout, climbing tower, slide, and a seesaw, etc., for young children;
  • An open tarmac Area for ball games, plus a youth hut for ‘hanging out’;
  • A fenced, full-size multi-use games area for individuals or groups to pursue a variety of sports including tennis, basketball, netball, and five-a-side football. Equipment for all these games is housed in a locker next to the games area, a key for which can be borrowed from any of the addresses listed on the locker lid. Usage is free of charge. No booking system.

            • A league-standard football pitch with access to modern changing rooms and showers (hire fees apply) is available. We want to attract a local football league team to adopt us for their home for the forthcoming season – there are very reasonable terms on offer. Meanwhile, the pitch and facilities can be hired for one-offs, friendlies, etc.
            • There is scope for other activities on the field. Please enquire for more information.

Part-funded by the National Lottery are two items of adult exercise equipment, designed to tone every muscle in your body – good fun and, again, free of charge to use.

Marquee for Hire
We have a new marquee with a modern sectionalised design: small, medium, or large to suit different event capacities.  This is available for hire on the Playing Field in conjunction with a Village Hall booking (eg for a wedding or birthday celebration) or off-site in the local area (within a 10-mile radius).

Dogs – Please note, dogs are not allowed anywhere on the field.

Parking is in front of the village hall.
