Our first Village Walk raising funds for the Village Hall was a huge success on Sunday 5th Aug. Despite being possibly the hottest day of the year so far, we braved the weather, slapped on the suncream and rambled through our beautiful countryside. The gentle 4mile route took us South from the Village Hall to Isle Abbotts and back past Stillbrook to the Village Hall for some very welcome refreshments. The route is well signposted and easy to follow, so for those who nodded off after their Sunday lunch and forgot to come along (you know who you are!), we strongly encourage you to get your walking boots on and enjoy our fabulous locality.
