A wide load is planned to pass through Fivehead village during the morning of Wednesday 23 October. The exact timing is not confirmed, but likely to be around 9-10am. It will be exceptionally wide and low, similar to the one in August, where there were difficulties with parked cars particularly by the village green and near Miller’s Orchard.
Your help to ensure the route is free of parked vehicles in narrow areas would be really appreciated, including at other pinch points such as Langford Corner and at the bottom and the top of Butcher’s Hill, to give maximum clearance for the vehicle; also to pass on the message to other residents.
