We have been given advance notice of a wide and high delivery vehicle passing through Fivehead village during the afternoon of Wednesday 9 October. Exact timing of this movement is not available, but if the delivery should have to be re-arranged, a further update may follow.
The pinch points for this load will be when it passes the village green around the corner of Butcher’s Hill and crosses the bridge, and also at the top of Butcher’s Hill where vehicles can sometimes be parked on both sides, and traffic has to weave through. Any help to ensure the route is free of parked vehicles, which might need to be moved if the passage is too narrow, would be much appreciated.
We hope this notification is helpful. Please pass on to anyone who may not have access to web alerts or social media.
